Xi'an Modern Chemistry Institute, founded in 1948, is located in Xi'an High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Electronic Industrial Park, is China's largest chemical Energetic Materials Research Center, it is mainly engaged in energetic materials, explosions and combustion science, organic chemistry, application research and development of chemical, polymer materials, fine chemicals, electronic instrumentation and analytical techniques, based on the application of chemical-based research, trial comprehensive research institute.

The whole area by 600,000 square meters, existing staff of nearly 2,000 people.
